Background Information

Jermaine Lamar Cole, famously known as J. Cole is an American singer, rapper, song
writer, and record producer. J. Cole was born in Germany but was raised in North
Carolina. Cole released his debut mixtape named the "come up" in early 2007, after
gaining some recognition Cole went on to drop two additoinal mix tapes, "The Warm Up"
and "Friday Night Lights" after signing to Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint in 2009. J Cole
later started to become very well known after landing on the Billboard charts multiple
times and recording multiple platinum hits. J cole is considered one of the all time
greatest rap artists in todays society.
